Sarvasiddhi Temple


Sarvasiddhi Temple is very prominent in Mukteshwar . Seated between the idols of Mahalakshmi and Mahasarasvati, the idol of Annapurna is painted with dark Vermillion Colour. Tantric tradition holds this seat as siddha-pitha. According to Skanda purana the name Hara-siddi got currency for the personal achievement of the goddess in vanquishing the demons. The folk tradition holds Harasiddhi as the worshipping diety of the king Vikramaditya.


Navagraha Temples


Navagraha temples are temples devoted to Navagraha – the nine (nava) major celestial bodies (Grahas) of Hindu astronomy. These celestial bodies are named Surya (Sun), Chandra (Moon), Chevvaai/Mangal (Mars), Budhan (Mercury), Guru/Brihaspati (Jupiter), Shukra (Venus), Shani (Saturn), Rahu (North Lunar Node) and Ketu (South Lunar Node).


Kaal Bhairav Temple


The temple is dedicated to Bhairava (Kaal Bhairav), a fierce form of Shiva and wears a garland of skulls and carries a club of peacock feathers. The word "Kaal" means both "death" and "fate". Kaal Bhairav also means the one whom even death Fears It is believed that even death is afraid of Kaal Bhairav.

MAHADEV AARTI


The ritual of performing aarti is an integral a part of worshipping in Hinduism. The Mahadev Aarti lyrics are in praise of Lord Shiva and every verse ends with letter of invitation to the Lord to get rid of unhappiness and pain from life. The Mahadev Aarti is sung by devotees is an pleasant ways to please Him with the good benefits and receive His blessing. This Aarti is popularly performed during the Mahashivratri, Shravan Maas, on Mondays and it's said that Lord Shiva likes devotees performing His Aarti.
